A villa gate opens a few dozen times a day, a busy car park thousands. Motors are rated for this, and an under-rated motor will fail early in UAE heat.
How drivers are identified
Remotes suit small numbers of users. RFID tags suit residents and staff. Number plate recognition suits large or changing user lists. Ticket or pay systems suit public car parks.

Loop detectors and photocells stop the arm closing on a car. They are not optional, and we include them on every barrier.

Standard barriers open in about three to six seconds, high-speed models in around one to two seconds.
